DESCRIPTION
You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown presents a day in the life of the classic Peanuts characters through a series of songs and vignettes.  We're doing the 1999 revised version of the show, which adds some new songs and the character Sally.

ROLES
We are casting actors age 16 and older to play characters who are children.  All ethnicities welcome.
Charlie Brown - admirable for his dogged ability to keep trying in the face of never succeeding in anything he does.  Very resilient.  He is a kind and generous person.  The show revolves around a day in his life.  Baritone (Bb2 - F4).

Lucy - blunt with advice and wanting confirmation of her worth from others, she can be (willfully?) oblivious to others' feelings - especially Charlie Brown.  She is infatuated with Schroeder and is the sister of Linus.  Alto/mezzo (G3 - F#5).

Linus - a gentle philosopher with a large vocabulary, who can become quite vocal in defense of his security blanket.  Baritone (Bb2 - E4).

Sally - younger than the others (Charlie Brown's sister), but just as intelligent…sometimes precocious.  Soprano (B3 - Ab5).

Schroeder - a piano prodigy who loves Beethoven.  Finds Lucy annoying.  Tenor (Bb2 - Ab4).

Snoopy - classically anthropomorphized, Snoopy is a reflection of creativity and wisdom and humanity.  Will never be an "ordinary dog".  Tenor (C3 - A4).  Possible female role, but must fit vocal range.
