AUDITION FORMAT
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.  Please be sure to sign up for an audition slot using the following link:

PRODUCTION SCHEDULE
Rehearsals will begin December 11
Performances January 26-27 and February 2-3 at 8 pm, January 28 and February 4 at 2 pm
All rehearsals and performances will be at the theatre in Acton

FEMALE ROLES

Puck (15-50)
The actual Puck. 

Olivia Darnell (20's-30's)
The actress who plays Hermia.  "She has all the sass, beauty, and natural charm of a heroine from a 1930's screwball comedy."

Lydia Lansing (20's-30's)
The actress who plays Helena.  The producer's young girlfriend, a somewhat limited Shakespearean actress looking to buck her reputation of being a Hollywood "slut."

Louella Parsons (30's-60's)
The iconic gossip columnist.
MALE ROLES

Oberon (20's-50's)
The actual Oberon, King of the Fairies.  "Imperious, impatient, and commanding with a childlike temper and a sense of whimsy."

Jack Warner (40's-50's)
The head of Warner Studios.

Max Reinhardt (50's-60's)
Celebrated theatre director making his first motion picture.

Daryl (20's-30's)
Warner's yes man.

Will Hays (40's-50's)
The censor from the League of Decency.  Full of bluster and vanity.

Dick Powell (20's-30's)
The actor who plays Lysander.  This actor also plays Tarzan and Albert.

James Cagney (30's-40's)
The actual James Cagney, the actor who plays Bottom, who in turn plays Pyramus.  This actor also plays Groucho and Harry.

Joe E. Brown (40's-50's)
Character actor who plays Flute, who in turn plays Thisbe.  This actor also plays Cowboy and Sam.
