TENTATIVE REHEARSAL SCHEDULE
Rehearsal schedule will be based on cast availability, and will take place off-site for the month of March.
SYNOPSIS
Tom Stoppard's translation of Gerald Sibleyras's "Heroes" is a seductive fusion of the comic, sad, and absurd. The setting is a nursing home for disabled veterans outside Paris in the 1950's. Despite war wounds, agoraphobia, and fainting spells, 3 veterans of World War I plot their escape from the nuns. Their task is complicated by the decision to take a large statue with them. At times achingly funny, at times piercingly sad , the play is wonderfully entertaining. Will today be the day the finally make it to Indochina...or perhaps only as far as the top of the hill?
