ROLES

Cliff Bradshaw:  20’s to late 30’s
Herr Schultz:  50’s to 70’s
Fraulein Schneider:  50’s to 70’s
Ernst Ludwig:  30’s to 50’s
Max:  30’s to 60’s (double-cast as the passport agent)
the Emcee:  20’s to 50’s

There will be at least six Kit Kat girls and two Kit Kat boys, age range 18 to 40’s, all of whom must dance.  We are looking for a variety of ages and body types.  One Kit Kat girl will also play Fraulein Kost, one Kit Kat boy or girl will be the gorilla, and one Kit Kat boy will be in Three Ladies as a girl.  The Kit Kat boys will also be sailors and thugs.  Members of the ensemble will be on the stage or in the audience area for much of the show; some will also be ushering.

AUDITION FORMAT
Actors auditioning for Kost, Sally, the Emcee, and the Kit Kat women and men must do the dance audition.  The dance audition is optional for actors auditioning only for Cliff, Max, Ernst, Schroeder, and Shultz.  Be prepared to dance at both auditions and callbacks.  There are dancing roles for both men and women.  Wear clothing you can move in and a type of dance shoe if you have them (women, high heeled dance shoes would be preferred but are not mandatory).  A brief warm-up will be provided, but it is suggested that you warm up prior to the audition.  We will be looking for dancers who can pick up the choreography quickly and execute it with the energy required for the show.
