Imprisoned by the Inquisition, an actor also stands accused by his fellow prisoners of being an idealist and an honest man. While admitting his guilt of these faults, he defends himself by spinning a tale of a man who has rejected his reality, and pursues his illusion of being a knight errant; fighting his enemies, protecting his fair lady and changing the lives of all those he encounters. Based on Cervantes’ tales of Don Quixote, this story proves that believing in hidden beauty, fighting injustice, and serving others are not impossible dreams.
